An east coast native, I received my BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore (MICA). My obsession with process drew me to clay and its tactile qualities. I realized a love for mold-making while reproducing found objects using plaster molds and slip casting.

My current series, Loaded Objects, explores associations to recognizable and symbolic forms void of their function. By reducing these objects to their three-dimensional shape and then translating them into clay, I mesh unlikely forms together and create visually seductive and thought provoking pieces.
